About Bailey

Bailey Menzel writes horror, mystery, and quiet speculative fiction for readers who like the lights left low. Her stories tend to begin in ordinary rooms and end somewhere harder to leave: a hallway that keeps going, a phone call that should not have connected, a town that remembers more than it should.

She is drawn to the small frictions that hide larger hauntings. Grief disguised as routine. A friendship that has started to rot at the edges. The half second of doubt before you trust your own memory. Her work moves through ghost stories, missing person cases, cursed objects, slow burn dread, and the occasional novel length descent into something worse.

Bailey is currently building a library of short stories, novels, and screenplays in public. New work is added often. If you like fiction that takes its time, keeps its secrets, and finally tells you the truth in the last paragraph, you are in the right archive.
